Testimonials
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible prenatal yoga classes. Your teaching has truly enriched my pregnancy journey, and I can’t thank you enough for that. Even with just two weeks to go until my due date, I am feeling fantastic, and it is all thanks to your guidance. Your expertise shines through in every class, and I am amazed by your ability to address any physical discomfort or challenge with such skill and care. Your one-on-one sessions have been an absolute blessing. Your kindness, attentiveness and understanding have made these sessions more than just exercises – they have been a source of support and empowerment for me. Thank you Lenka, from the bottom of my heart.
Lenka is a great partner for prenatal yoga. She is more than a teacher; she really took time to understand me and assess exactly what I was able to do – what was enough or too much to bring the best support adapted to myself and my growing baby. She really cares about each student. I felt in great hands while moving step by step each week. I feel very lucky to have Lenka on my side during this very important period of my life. Thank you.
Lenka is a highly empathetic prenatal yoga instructor who not only helped me physically and mentally to prepare for labour and birth, but also created a safe space for me to slow down and connect with my body and my baby every week. She is willing to take the time to get to know you and your needs in your pregnancy journey and offers tailor made classes for each stage of pregnancy. Taking weekly classes with Lenka was certainly one of the best things I did for myself and my baby while I was pregnant.
Frequently Asked Questions
You will need comfortable clothes, not too loose, not too tight – leggings and a tighter t-shirt will be a good option, as we will move in all directions. Have water, yoga mat and then props - 2 yoga blocks, bolster, 2 blankets, belt and chair. If you don’t have bolster, you can use a firm long pillow, for the blocks – thick books will do the job as well. If you don’t have yoga belt, use a bathrobe belt.
No props are needed for a private in person class, as everything will be provided for the practise. Just bring your mat, water, and a smile.
Prenatal yoga is safe for any healthy mum, who has been cleared by her doctor to practise prenatal yoga, listens to her body and practise under supervision of a certified prenatal yoga teacher.
Prenatal yoga is specifically designed for expecting mum’s needs and for accommodating her growing belly and the baby inside. Certain poses like deep twist, jumping, compressing the belly, etc., are strictly omitted during prenatal yoga.
You will be guided into poses safely, with adjustments provided if a pose is not performed correctly to prevent misalignment.
Mum is always encouraged to listen to her body and if anything doesn’t feel right to abort the pose to keep the practise safe.
